OMG I feel like I am going to explode.

I ordered a cot on ebay and it should have been delivered today through e-go couriers however no one came, they also have no phone contact only email. I have been home all day and have even had the office downstairs keep an eye out for them and no one has been there. But I got an email from the company saying that there was no one here to collect and then they will deliver tomorrow for an extra $22.

So I guess I will be loosing 2 days wages plus the $22 to get this at the worst possible time. What a bunch of jackoffs!!! I an so f#cking angry right now I am beside myself!

It is taking everything in me right now to not just break down and cry.

No one should use there service, e-go couriers, they are rubbish!!!

Sorry, its been a while.

So it the last few months since I have been away, I have gotten pregnant and am now 21 weeks. And for me it has not been to bad,you hear some horror stories, but I have remained pretty healthy and not sick too much. :)

No much to rant about just at the mo (and not much time to do it in).... got to work on a Saturday. *stomps* still though I do get paid for it so yay! And to celebrate labor day on Monday (for those of you in QLD) I will not do any work. Hooray~!

PS... Did anyone play God of War 3 at supernova? Looks like a bit alright. More on that later.

Why is it that no one I know uses myspace anymore. Is it because we have all grown up and no longer want to take stupid pictures of ourselfs with excessive eyeliner. And have instead gotten to a point in our live where poking and throwing sheep at people is the highlight of our day.

Ahhh, lest we forget the good old time when popping people's comment cherry was something to be excited about. Or at leased mentionable.

In responce to Ebert's - Video Games are not an art form

I was going to post a response to this article that I found on cracked.com however after a brief look I can see that everyone else and his dog already has.

So in light of the mass media avalanche I will be brief.

So are video games Art, I would like to say YES! I know everyone is entitles to an opinion but damn it, this is the internet and without a bit of conflict what the hell is the damn point! I know that Ebert's opinion is a hugely respected one. And I am not saying that there is anything wrong with it. I just simply don't agree.
The reasons I say YES to the question 'Are video games an art form' are firstly it fits in with the the definition of 'what is art', secondly Ebert does not play video games and last but not leased Wookies do not come from Endor.

So what is ART, is is a magical thing that can not be explained? No! Art is the communication of an idea, it is "the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing..." So you have to ask yourself, have you ever played a video game that fit under this category, for those of you who haven't outside with you! but for everyone else it is pretty much that! Games can be beautiful, appealing and communicate an idea. Not every game, some games are just a series of puzzles with the option of either winning or loosing i.e. I don't think box world had an underlying message.

Well secondly Ebert does not play video games, so he has not been in the position to experience the art. How can you review something you have not experienced? I heard that jelly wrestling is a bit sticky but can be a lot of fun, have I done it, no, so my opinion is not really valid.

And lastly Why would a Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of Ewoks I mean they are cute and everything but the high difference makes inter-species relationships difficult? Or is it because wookiees and ewoks are one in the same with some insane camera angle and yellow pages to make them look bigger. Their names just have the syllables reversed. That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with video games. Well everything and nothing.

So in conclusion, video games are art, they fit in with the definition of art, they communicate ideas, they can be beautiful, I have played games that have left me inspired and piss me off getting there. That was a bit longer than expected.

This is just my first post with (hopefully) many to come, with an amalgamation of fashion and tech that I can not seem to find in the same place (quite frankly I just would like these two things in one magazine that I can read while I 'work'). I just personally think that it would be great to be able to have a moderator to test, use and review the beautiful and the weird out there for the geek in all of us or that wants to be.

Rant:
also while I am here, has anyone seen that KFC TV ad where there are those people getting lunch for a friend and one girl says that he like burgers and the other guy says that he like chicken, when the sales assistant suggests a meal. Its a chicken shop people just get a chicken burger I don't see the point of the conversation at all, just order what you want and get two. weirdos!
